After several try outs and discussion with some of our friends in Common Room, finally we’re having our first music recording experience! This time we decided to start with music jamming and record the whole session with an open source software computing platform. We use Audacity to record the material, which works very well with openSUSE 10.2., an operating system that use Linux computing platform. In this particular session, Projekt Heterologia presents Gustaff H. Iskandar (programing/sampling/synth), Niang/Jagger Boy Transistor (programing/sampling/vox), Hendy Hertiasa aka Party Maker Inc. (vox/effect) & Ferly Noviadri aka Peyi (bass). Recording session is being facilitated by Andi Sugandi from Bandung Linux Club, local open source software community that dedicates their activities in developing open source software user in Bandung. You can download the result at this link and read the complete report in this blog.
